Empowering students. Unlocking potential. Bridging the gap between school and success.

Our story

It started with a simple question.

We launched EdVenture because we believed students deserved more than vague advice and last-minute panic about their future.

As high school and college students ourselves, we watched too many peers reach junior or senior year only to realize they were unprepared to make some of the biggest decisions of their lives - course selection, college applications, career choices - under enormous pressure and without the guidance they needed years earlier.

Existing resources were too generic, too expensive, or too disconnected from what students actually experience. So, we built something different.

EdVenture was created with one mission: to help students get ahead instead of catching up.

Since 2024, we've grown from a single workshop into a nationwide network - 400+ students and families served, 50+ mentors, and programming across California, Texas, Illinois, and New Jersey.

OUR MISSION

Helping students get ahead - instead of catching up.

At EdVenture, we believe students deserve more than last-minute advice and rushed decisions. Our mission is to give students and families early access to the high school, college, and career landscape.

We guide students through every stage of high school -from building a strong academic foundation to understanding standardized testing and the college admissions process.

Beyond academics, we introduce students to real career fields through virtual sessions led by students and mentors actively pursuing those paths  authentic insight before they commit to a direction.

Most importantly, we empower students to transform their interests into meaningful action through passion projects, leadership opportunities, and initiatives that grow long before application deadlines arrive.

Leadership team

The students behind it all.

Hi, I'm Anushka, one of the founders of EdVenture! I've always believed that education is about more than earning good grades - it's about building confidence, discovering your strengths, and learning how to think critically. That belief inspired me to start EdVenture: a student-led nonprofit dedicated to making quality education more accessible while creating meaningful mentor relationships between high school tutors and younger students. My passion for teaching began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I tutored neurodivergent students in English. Since then, I've continued working with students through Indians for Collective Action in partnership with the Borderless World Foundation, teaching children in orphanages in the Kashmir conflict region. Those experiences taught me that every student learns differently, and that patience, empathy, and encouragement can be just as important as the lesson itself. Beyond EdVenture, I'm involved in competitive speech and debate, journalism, research, and Indian classical dance. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, curiosity, and appreciation for lifelong learning - qualities I strive to bring into every mentorship session. At EdVenture, our goal isn't just to help students succeed in school. We want to inspire confidence, encourage curiosity, and create a supportive community where every student feels capable of achieving their goals. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Hi, I’m Krishay, one of the founders of EdVenture, an organization dedicated to empowering students through mentorship and skill-building. As the founder of Almaden Chess Club, I’m a passionate chess enthusiast working to make chess accessible to all while fostering strategic thinking and building community. I’ve organized tournaments and taught players from diverse backgrounds, helping them grow through the game. In addition, I actively compete in Public Forum Debate, where I thrive on engaging in thoughtful discussions and sharpening my argumentation skills. My involvement in Mock Trial allows me to apply analytical thinking in courtroom scenarios, deepening my understanding of law and advocacy. Outside these pursuits, I enjoy baking and spending time with my dog. At EdVenture, we’re committed to helping students gain confidence, master time management, and develop clear communication skills. With the right support, we believe every student can excel both academically and personally.

Built by students, for the next generation.

Let's go on an EdVenture

EdVenture is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality educational opportunities for students.
